The bigots who represent Wales

It's official, out of the 40 MPs that Wales has, 25% of them are bigots that do not believe that two people of the same sex should enjoy the same equality as two people of the opposite sex have. Nobody will be shocked that all eight dinosaurs in the blue corner voted no to the equal marriage bill. But what of the others?

Being able to vote in this bill ought to be one of the highlights of a politicians career. When they are old and grey older and greyer those that had the courage to stand up for someone else would be able to proudly say that "I helped make that happen". Or you can look as stupid as the people in the picture below and be remembered as one of the ones who tried to stop equality.

Everythings bigoted in America
In an interesting twist of time and space it was in 1967 that interracial marriage became legal across the USA and it was no longer illegal to engage in homosexuality in Englandandwales. Think of how stupid the people in the picture look above. They are all bigots, they just come from different periods of time. So the Labour bigots and the eight Tory bigots serving Welsh constituencies should think how they will be remembered in the years to come.

For the record, the Tory bigots are.
  • Guto Bebb (Aberconwy)
  • Alun Cairns (Vale of Glamorgan)
  • Stephen Crabb (Preseli Pembrokeshire)
  • David Davies (Monmouth)
  • Glyn Davies (Montgomeryshire)
  • Jonathan Evans (Cardiff North)
  • Simon Hart (Carmarthen West & Pembrokeshire South)
  • David Jones (Clwyd West)
Here's a couple more examples of historical bigotry.

But before we go back slapping the Labour MPs that voted yes, let's remember that despite them believing that same sex couples shouldn't be treated like second class citizens, they still believe that Wales should be treated like a colony.

  1. Do you know why these so-called bigots voted the way they did? Maybe they had perfectly good reasons to do so, perhaps because of their own religious beliefs or a concern for the religious beliefs of others.

My own view is that marriage as regulated by the state should be abolished and replaced with civil partnerships for all. Churches, mosques, synagogues etc should then be able to carry out whatever ceremonies they wish without the interference of the law or those of a totalitarian mindset.

    1. They do not believe that two people of the same sex should have the same rights as a man and a woman. That makes them a bigot. If they hide behind religion then that makes them a coward as well.

    1. Are you trying to suggest that gay people are animals? But if you are into that sort of thing I suggest you take your holidays in Holland.

  3. Time to sack the all the Welsh MPs and Lords, they are a total waste of time and money. They do nothing that would not be better done by the elected government in Cardiff Bay.
